About Me

My family have been in Southern Africa since the late 1700's, I was born and brought up in Zimbabwe and, until 2003, I was in the banking industry.

In 2000 I was asked to start a small merchant bank in Botswana with branches in 5 Southern Africa countries. In 2003 I decided to leave the corporate world and joined my wife in her wholesale plant nursery which she had set up in Gaborone, Botswana. We ran this operation for ten years eventually selling it in 2013 and moving back to the Cape.

To keep myself busy I did all my courses to become a tourist guide in all nine provinces of South Africa plus I have done numerous tours throughout Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. My main interests being history, flora and fauna and street art.
